Pope Francis Suffers Minor Injury After Fall

By Patience Kapinda

Pope Francis, the leader of the worldwide Catholic Church, suffered a minor injury after falling at his home in Italy earlier today.
According to CNN, the 88-year-old Pope collapsed but did not suffer any serious injuries, aside from a hurt arm.

Despite the incident, Pope Francis proceeded with his scheduled meetings, conferencing with five individuals later in the day.

This incident marks the second time the Pope has fallen in recent months, having previously injured his chin in December after hitting a bedside table.

The Pope has been experiencing knee problems, which have led him to use a wheelchair for mobility.

In a statement, Pope Francis acknowledged his physical limitations, saying, “The church is led by using the head and the heart, not the legs.”

He also shared that he engages in exercises twice a week and uses a cane to assist with walking.

Pope Francis’s dedication to his duties is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the Catholic Church and its followers worldwide.
