dominant performance at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Manoma set an early goal with Wisdom Mpinganjira finding the
net in the 9th minute. The team continued to put pressure, and Gaddi Chirwa
doubled their lead in the 29th minute. Isaac Kaliati extended the lead further
in the 66th minute. Misheck Botomani
added a fourth goal in the 84th minute, and Francisco Madinga put the final
touch in the 90th minute, sealing a great 5-0 victory for the Blantyre-based
team.
The dominant win pushes Mighty Mukuru Wanderers ahead to put
pressure on silver strikers who are the league leaders with 4 points ahead and a game in hand.
Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos secured a crucial win, defeating
Moyale FC 1-0. Promise Kamwendo delivered the decisive blow in the 83rd minute,
scoring the only goal of the match and helping Dedza Dynamos grab three
valuable points.
In a tight game, Kamuzu Barracks and Civil Service United
played out a goalless draw. Both teams had chances but ultimately failed to
convert, leaving them to share the points. Kamuzu barracks sits on position 7
with 37 points in the table while Civil service United sits at position 5 with
39 points
The Mzuzu City Hammers and Creck SC also concluded their
match with a 0-0 scoreline. Despite both teams’ efforts, neither side could
break the deadlock, resulting in another shared-points situation.
