The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has appointed former Nyasa Big Bullets coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, as the new head coach of the Malawi Men's Senior National Team, the Flames.
The Zimbabwean coach, who had a successful time with Nyasa Big Bullets, has been handed a two-year contract to lead the Flames.
Pasuwa's appointment is expected to bring a new era of success to the Flames, who have been struggling to make an impact on the international stage.
FAM officials are confident that Pasuwa's experience and coaching skills will help to revitalize the team and lead them to victory in upcoming competitions.
Pasuwa boasts an impressive coaching record, having led Dynamos FC to four consecutive league titles from 2011 to 2014 and securing 12 trophies during his time.
He also successfully qualified Zimbabwe for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
More recently, Pasuwa guided Nyasa Big Bullets to four consecutive TNM Super League titles, showcasing his ability to achieve consistent success with his teams.
