The University of Livingstonia’s (UNILIA) Vice Chancellor’s Trophy tournament is reaching a fever pitch, with Laws Campus emerging as the team to beat after an electrifying Matchday 2.
In netball, Laws Campus solidified their dominance with a 39-26 victory over Ekwendeni Social Science, while Ekwendeni Health Science secured a commanding 25-12 win against Kaning’ina Campus.
The volleyball court was equally Intense, as Ekwendeni Health Science delivered a crushing 3-0 set win over Kaning’ina Campus. Laws Campus also showcased their strength with a decisive 3-0 triumph over Ekwendeni Social Science.
Football action saw Laws Campus maintain their winning streak with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ekwendeni Social Science, courtesy of an own goal and a clinical finish by Vinny. Meanwhile, Ekwendeni Health Science made a resounding statement with a 6-0 demolition of Kaning’ina Campus.
The basketball showdown featured another dominant performance from Laws Campus, who overpowered Kaning’ina Campus 62-35. Ekwendeni Health Science also made their mark with a high-scoring 98-68 triumph over Ekwendeni Social Science.
As the tournament reaches its midpoint, the intensity is building, and competition is tightening. Laws Campus currently leads the standings, but with several matches still to be played, other teams are gearing up to challenge for the prestigious Vice Chancellor’s Trophy.
